Profesia Days 2015 25.-26.2.

About the analysis

The analysis provided on Profesia Days 2015 is usually part of our services, called Teambuilding. It's the typology of Ursula Affemann, that we use for creating effective and capable working groups or teams. We classify candidates for the position in a team based on their personality and mentality either as an executor, critic, leader, innovator or manager.

When creating working groups, respectively teams, it is profoundly important to focus on the resulting interplay of people in the team. We are strong at grouping people by their personality and mentality into teams in such a way, that the communication flow among the teammates would be efficient, thus increasing the working capacity of the whole group.

During the two-day event we had conducted a total of 181 analysis of which 138 visitors were interested in more detailed results sent by e-mail. We were delighted by the people's interest in handwriting analysis, and so we have prepared some interesting statistics from the collected data - results.

Percentual distribution of visitors by gender.

Average result of visitors

The graph shows an average visitor's percentual distribution of Ursula Affemann's personality types, who has visited our nook under the Profesia's stand. According to the results, we see that we were attended mostly by quite balanced people with sort of managerial qualities regarding the teamwork.

Chart No.1.: An average visitor's result.

Average results of "His" and "Hers"

We can say, that the statistical battle between the gender ends in a draw. As it can be also seen in the graph, while the gentler gender has an around 5% lead in the areas of leadership and executive, the male gender is more resourceful and creative (ed: it's all about training, excuses do not invent themselves alone, right?). As for the areas of criticism and managment, we're doing almost the same.

Personality types' diagram

The output and the purpose of the analysis was to get classified into one or more personality types from the perspective of teamwork. The diagram clearly shows that the people were mostly classified as managers, whereas the least often classified group had been the critic's. The likelihood to be classified into the other groups was roughly equal. The results have shown that this diagram highly correlates with results that we've seen in the chart No.1, therefore we can confirm that our visitors are more manager type of persons.

Chart No.3.: Percentual distribution of personality types

The distribution of personality types by gender

The following two charts show the exact number of instances of personality types, both for the women and men visitors, separately. If we compare these result to the ones in chart no.2, they can seem somewhat contradictory. According to chart no.2, these diagrams should be quite identical. However, when we look at the exact number of occurances we'll notice that the number of female critics and executors is 2x more than male ones, whereas the number of male innovators is 3x that much as in the opposite group. Therefore, we can assume that innovativeness on the men's side and criticism, executive character on the female side is at least 3 times, respectively 2 times that significant, than of the oppsite gender.

Chart No.5: The distribution of personality types - women

Occurance of personality type by gender

In many cases, it was true that some or even the most of the visitor's examined characteristics had not been present in the handwriting at all. Of course, this result is due to the fact, that we had to carry out a so-called "quick analysis" on Profesia Days. This type of analysis is a quite reliable classification tool but the percentual distribution of each property can be really inaccurate in some cases. The graph n.6 and n.7 confirm the results of charts n.4 and 5 - that is, the ratio of personality types' distribution and occurance is about the same. It means, that it's twice as likely to find hints of criticism and executive character in a woman's handwriting and three times more likely that you find features of creativity, if you are examining a man's manuscript.

Conclusion

Finally, we would like to point out, that based on 181 analysis the results can not be considered as representative, as the event was attended by over 20,000 participants. Our long-term goal is to perform as many analysis as possible, that will over time lead to more accurate statistical indicators concerning not only the distribution of personality types in the society, but also indicators of expressiveness of individual personality features such as reliability, ambition, motivation, and many others.

Thanks

Hereby we would like to thank the organizer of the event, company Profesia, that they invited us to such a spectacular event like Profesia Days. We felt very welcome, met many new and wonderful people and we only hope that the next year we could meet again, so we can come up with a brand new and even more interesting idea. Let's be honest, we have such ideas more than enough ;)
